Please read this first. Work Hour Calculator gives estimates. Before you act on a figure that affects your pay, invoices or legal rights, confirm it with your employer, your payroll provider or a qualified professional.

General information only

Everything on this site gives general information. That includes calculator results, examples and explanations. It is not payroll processing, and it is not accounting, tax, legal, financial or HR advice. Using the site does not create a professional relationship with us.

Results depend on your inputs

The calculators follow the numbers you enter. A wrong start time or a missed break changes the answer. So does a rounding setting that differs from your employer's policy. Check every result against your own records.

Employers and laws differ

Pay periods, rounding, break rules and overtime limits vary by employer, contract, union, industry and place. Our default of 40 hours a week and a 1.5 multiplier are common examples. They do not tell you what applies to you. Exempt and salaried staff may get no overtime at all.

Pay estimates

Pay figures show gross estimates. They leave out tax, deductions, benefits, bonuses and shift differentials. Do not treat them as a forecast of your take-home pay.

No promise of accuracy or uptime
